Yi Ren
Program Manager
Yi joined the WCS China Tiger Program in 2009. Now as the Tiger Program Manager, his main responsibilities include developing detailed implementation workplans for Amur tiger and leopard conservation of WCS China in northeast China, maintaining partnerships between government partners at provincial and regional levels, supervising and ensuring smooth operation of the field office, and managing exiting projects and field work.
Aimin Wang
Country Director
Aimin is the country director of the WCS China program. Since he joined WCS in 2015, he has led efforts to develop wildlife conservation in China. He has worked in conservation in China and Asia since 1994, focusing on policy support and project implementation for community natural resource management. He has published journal articles on topics ranging from the effectiveness of community conservation mechanisms to forest regeneration following human disturbance.
