The Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) is a conservation organization dedicated to protecting wildlife and their habitat, active in almost 60 countries. Our vision is to save wildlife and wild places worldwide through science, conservation action, education, and inspiring people to value nature. WCS has been working in China since 1995, with focus on large mammals and their habitat.
WCS is seeking to undertake a thorough analysis of the current legal and institutional situation within China, Vietnam and Laos with regard to wildlife trafficking in order to provide an accurate and comprehensive understanding of the legal and institutional frameworks that exist in each country to address illegal wildlife trafficking.
