The turtles and tortoise have survived through the harsh environment for millions of year, but now they are about to be extinct because of human. They are kept as pets, eaten by people as food, and their shell are made into traditional Chinese medicine. The illegal pet and food trade has threatened more than 80% population of turtles and tortoise species.
