(December 13, 2024)   -   On December 6, 2024, Hunchun's government and the Northeast China Tiger and Leopard National Park, co-organized by WCS, held a habitat conservation event and first community patroller competition. This initiative aimed to improve wildlife conservation, reduce human-wildlife conflicts, and boost public engagement. The event included a symposium and a competition among ten patrol teams, won by Hulutougou Village, highlighting WCS's successful, expanding community anti-poaching efforts.
